Handy Farmer Kukri | Hand-Forged Working Khukuri for Farming & Jungle Use
The 8-inch Handy Farmer Kukri/khukuri is a compact powerhouse used by rural farmers and villagers across Nepal. Known as the Black Village Kukri, this blade is designed for real, rugged work—whether you're clearing brush, chopping wood, skinning animals, or harvesting vegetables. It’s a practical, no-nonsense tool forged for functionality, not just looks.
Hand-forged in Nepal using 5160 carbon steel repurposed from truck leaf springs, this kukri features an unpolished 8-inch blade with a working finish that holds up in extreme outdoor environments. The 5-inch full tang handle is made of strong rosewood, offering a comfortable and secure grip during prolonged use. It’s the ideal size for jungle treks, farming, bushcraft, and survival applications.
This kukri/khukuri includes two traditional utility knives: Karda, a small skinning knife, and Chakmak, a sharpening tool. The scabbard is crafted from cotton wood and wrapped in tough yak leather for weather resistance and durability.
