Farmer Khukuri – Hand-Forged Traditional Nepalese kukri
The 10-inch Farmer Khukuri is a dependable working knife traditionally used by villagers and farmers across Nepal. Known for its versatility and rugged durability, this kukri is ideal for woodcutting, clearing brush, digging, chopping firewood, or handling daily farm and household tasks. It’s often referred to as the "Black Farmer" or "Village Khukuri."
Hand-forged in Nepal by skilled craftsmen, the blade is made from highly graded 5160 carbon spring steel sourced from recycled truck leaf springs. Water-tempered for superior edge retention and strength, the blade hardness ranges from 58–60 RC. The handle is crafted from rosewood and features a full tang design for enhanced control and grip.
This khukuri also includes a traditional buffalo leather-wrapped cotton scabbard and two utility tools:
- Karda: Small sharp knife for cutting and skinning.
