Classic Panawal Angkhola Khukuri/Kukri – 12-Inch Full Tang Utility Kukri by Everest Forge
The Classic Panawal Angkhola Khukuri is a rugged and reliable blade designed for real-world use — a fusion of traditional Nepalese blade-making and practical outdoor performance. With its thick spine, 12-inch polished blade, and distinct Angkhola-style fuller, this kukri offers incredible chopping power with less weight, improved balance, and maximum strength.
Hand-forged in Dharan, East Nepal using high-carbon 5160 spring steel (recycled from truck suspension), the blade is water-tempered for edge hardness and durability. The 6-inch full tang rosewood handle is secured with steel rivets and features a built-in guard for hand protection and better handling during tough tasks. Whether you're clearing brush, processing wood, or hunting, this kukri is made to perform in demanding field conditions.
It comes complete with a traditional scabbard made of cottonwood wrapped in yak leather and includes the two classic utility knives — the Karda (small utility blade) and Chakmak (sharpener). Built on the legacy of rural Nepalese design, this kukri brings strength, utility, and heritage to your hands.

Historical Insight
The Angkhola kukri style hails from Eastern Nepal and was widely adopted by rural farmers for heavy-duty work. Its fuller groove lightens the blade while retaining strength — making it more agile in use. The Panawal handle design further improves structural integrity with a full tang and metal rivets, now favored by hunters, soldiers, and survivalists alike.
Note
Each kukri is individually hand-forged. Minor differences in finish, blade pattern, and handle shape are part of its handcrafted authenticity.
