The Barong Machete is inspired by the traditional Barong blades of Southeast Asia, known for their wide, leaf-shaped profile and powerful cutting ability. Designed as a real working machete rather than a decorative piece, this blade delivers excellent chopping power, edge control, and durability for demanding outdoor tasks.

Hand forged from high carbon steel, the 18-inch blade features a broad 2.2-inch width that concentrates weight toward the edge, allowing deep, efficient cuts with minimal effort. The blade is properly tempered for strength and finished with a blackened surface, achieved through heat treatment rather than paint, giving it a rugged, battle-worn appearance while helping protect the steel.

The machete is built with a full tang rosewood handle, providing strength, balance, and a secure grip during heavy use. Its 7-inch handle length offers excellent leverage and control, making it suitable for clearing vegetation, chopping wood, and general field work.

A western-style leather sheath is included for safe carry and storage, completing a machete designed for real-world performance, reliability, and traditional blade heritage.
