This Kilij Dagger is a refined and compact interpretation of the iconic Turkish Kilij — a revered blade of the Ottoman Empire known for its distinctive hilt and slicing power. While the traditional Kilij is a curved sword, this dagger version preserves its historical features in a more versatile, close-combat form.

Hand-forged from 5160 high carbon spring steel, the 16-inch blade is straight, double-edged, and fully sharpened. A deep central fuller enhances balance and reduces weight while maintaining structural integrity. The blade is water-tempered using traditional methods for optimal hardness and flexibility.

The hallmark pistol-grip handle — carved from richly polished rosewood — provides the same grip geometry favored in Ottoman combat, allowing for powerful strikes and controlled handling. A classic metal crossguard with bulbous quillons adds authenticity and hand protection. The dagger comes with a custom leather scabbard featuring reinforced green and red accents.
