Naga Machete – Hand-Forged Heavy Duty Tribal Blade

Inspired by the formidable Naga Dao of Northeast India, the Naga Machete is a powerful, long-bladed tool forged for serious chopping, hacking, and field work. Originating from the Naga tribes, these blades were traditionally used for both agriculture and warfare, renowned for their cutting strength and intimidating presence.

This modern interpretation is hand-forged in Nepal from high-carbon 5160 spring steel, using traditional methods. The 20-inch blade is unpolished, showcasing its raw forging finish, with a hardened edge that’s water-tempered for exceptional strength. The long straight-edged profile is ideal for clearing thick brush, chopping wood, or cutting through hard materials with control and precision.

The full-tang handle is made of premium rosewood, 8 inches in length, and ergonomically shaped for two-handed use. Reinforced with steel fittings and triple riveted, the handle offers excellent balance and grip during extended use. It comes paired with a handmade leather sheath for secure and reliable storage and carry.
