24-Inch Jíbaro Machete – Hand Forged Latin American Style Cane & Jungle Blade

The 24-Inch Jíbaro Machete is a hand-forged working blade inspired by traditional agricultural and jungle machetes used throughout Puerto Rico and Latin America. Designed with a classic broad panga-style profile, this machete features a long, slightly upswept blade that delivers excellent chopping power, reach, and cutting efficiency for heavy outdoor work.

Forged by skilled blacksmiths at Everest Forge using high carbon steel, this machete is built to handle demanding field use. The long blade shape provides powerful momentum for clearing brush, cutting sugarcane, chopping vines, trail work, and general survival use. Traditional triple grooves near the ricasso add visual character while helping reduce weight and improve shock absorption.

This custom version features a rugged raw forged finish that highlights the handmade nature of the blade. The 6-inch full tang rosewood handle is fitted with brass accents for a classic traditional appearance. The machete also includes the personalized engraving “Izaiah Samuel Mora” along the spine near the handle on the right side of the blade.

A handcrafted brown leather-covered wooden scabbard is included for safe carrying and storage. As requested, this build comes with a plain traditional scabbard without a chape.
