Cheetlange Field Kukri | Modern Full Tang Khukuri with Guard

The 13-Inch Cheetlange Field Kukri is a modern take on the iconic Cheetlange-style blade, designed for serious outdoor work, tactical use, and daily farm or jungle tasks. Hand-forged in Nepal by skilled blacksmiths, this blade blends the traditional cutting power of the Cheetlange form with contemporary improvements such as a full tang construction, ergonomic rosewood handle, and protective finger guard.

Built from 5160 high-carbon spring steel and water-tempered for durability, the semi-polished blade features a slightly curved spine and pointed tip—making it excellent for slashing, chopping, and fine slicing. With its balanced forward-weight design, this kukri cuts deep while remaining agile in hand.

Unlike the traditional Cheetlange kukri, this version is upgraded with a 5-inch full tang handle crafted from durable rosewood, secured with steel rivets. The added steel guard improves safety and control, especially in wet or high-impact conditions. The kukri includes a handcrafted scabbard made from cotton wood and wrapped in buffalo leather, along with two utility knives—Karda and Chakmak.

About the Cheetlange Kukri Style

The Cheetlange kukri originates from the Cheetlang region in eastern Nepal and is known for its long, curved blade and cutting performance. Favored by farmers and fighters alike, its shape offers excellent slashing power and reach. This modern adaptation improves grip and durability while preserving the essence of the Cheetlange style. The added hand guard and full tang make it especially suitable for tactical and survival environments.

Note

Each kukri is handmade, so minor variations in blade finish, handle grain, and measurements are expected. These unique features reflect the artisanal quality of every Everest Forge kukri.
