Chainpure Farmer Kukri | Traditional Full Tang Khukuri for Farming & Outdoor Use
The 13-Inch Chainpure Farmer Kukri is a refined and functional version of Nepal’s traditional village kukri, known for its slim, fast-cutting blade. Hand-forged in Nepal using 5160 high-carbon steel from recycled truck springs, this kukri is crafted to meet the daily demands of farming, bushcraft, and jungle work. Lightweight yet powerful, it delivers clean cuts and high performance in real field conditions.
Named after Chainpur, an eastern hill town of Nepal where this blade style originated, the Chainpure Kukri has historically been a trusted farming companion. The blade’s narrow profile provides speed, control, and precision—perfect for slicing wood, cutting bone, clearing brush, or chopping vegetables. It comes with two utility knives: the Karda (for skinning) and the Chakmak (for sharpening), making it a complete working set.
Its 5-inch full tang handle is carved from rosewood and riveted for maximum strength and comfort during long hours of use. The scabbard is made from a cottonwood core covered in brown buffalo leather—ideal for secure carry in outdoor environments. Whether you're in the jungle, at the campsite, or managing farm work, this kukri is your go-to working blade.

Historical Background
The Chainpure Kukri originates from Chainpur, a village in Eastern Nepal known for its heritage blacksmithing. Unlike the broader military kukris, the Chainpure version has a narrower blade designed for everyday agricultural use. Farmers favored this kukri for its efficiency, maneuverability, and precise control—traits that made it a staple in rural households for generations.
