Panawal Sirupate Kukri | Full Tang Tactical Working Khukuri

The 13-Inch Panawal Sirupate Kukri is a performance-driven, slim-profile khukuri built for real work in the outdoors. Inspired by the traditional “Sirupate” design from eastern Nepal, this kukri features a long, narrow blade that cuts fast, deep, and true—perfect for hunting, bushcraft, camping, and tactical scenarios. The raw finish maintains its rugged working-class heritage, ideal for users who value durability and function over polish.

Hand-forged by the expert bladesmiths of Everest Forge, the blade is made from 5160 high-carbon steel recycled from truck leaf springs, then water-tempered for strength and edge retention. With a full tang 5-inch rosewood handle secured by rivets, this kukri offers superior grip and impact control, even during the heaviest use. It comes with a sturdy buffalo leather scabbard over a cottonwood core for safe carry, plus two traditional tools: the Karda (skinning knife) and Chakmak (sharpener).

About the Sirupate Design

The Sirupate kukri is named after the “Siru” grass—narrow, light, and razor-sharp—just like the blade itself. Favored in eastern Nepal for its lightweight profile and slicing speed, this design is excellent for long-duration use, especially in dense terrain. By adapting the traditional form with modern full tang construction and ergonomic enhancements, this version is ideal for high-impact real-world tasks.

Note

Each kukri is handcrafted, so minor variations in blade pattern, finish, or wood tone are natural and part of its unique, artisanal character.
