Cross-Heritage Warrior Kukri Combining Gurkha and Saxon Blade Traditions
The Gurkha Saxon Warrior Kukri is a unique cross-heritage blade that unites two historic warrior traditions into a single functional form. Inspired by the forward-weighted power of the Nepali kukri and the straight, utilitarian efficiency of the early Saxon seax, this piece is forged as a true working blade rather than a decorative hybrid.
The main kukri features a strong 15-inch blade with a 2-inch width, delivering excellent chopping authority and control in field use. Its profile blends traditional kukri curvature with subtle seax-influenced geometry, giving the blade a reinforced, purposeful character suitable for outdoor and utility work.
Accompanying the kukri is an integrated seax knife, designed in the spirit of early Germanic utility blades. Compact and effective, the seax measures 11 inches overall with a 6-inch blade, making it ideal for finer cutting tasks where precision is required. Together, the kukri and seax form a complementary set rooted in shared warrior values of practicality and resilience.
Turquoise stone inlays are set into the kukri’s bolster and butt cap, adding symbolic strength and visual distinction. Traditionally valued across cultures, turquoise is often associated with protection and endurance, reinforcing the warrior identity of this forged set.
