Gurkha Angkhola Kukri – Traditional Hand-Forged Khukuri with Fuller & Combat Heritage

The Gurkha Angkhola Kukri is a traditional combat-inspired khukuri hand-forged in Nepal using 5160 high carbon steel. It features the iconic Angkhola fuller—a groove along the blade that lightens weight while maintaining strength—making it perfect for bushcraft, chopping, survival, and general outdoor utility.

This blade follows a fusion of historical Angkhola and Budhunay-style kukris carried by Gurkha soldiers. Its full-profile blade is water-tempered, sharpened, and built to endure. The handle is crafted using traditional rat-tail tang construction, shaped for a secure grip during heavy-duty use. It comes with a handcrafted buffalo leather scabbard built around a cottonwood core, and includes the traditional Karda (utility knife) and Chakmak (sharpening tool).

Whether used for field work or added to a historical blade collection, this kukri is a dependable tribute to Nepal’s legendary forging tradition.
