What This Page Is For

This listing is how customers pay for a custom commission that has already been quoted. It is not a product. There is nothing attached to it, no specification of its own and no fixed price — it is a payment route for work we have already discussed with you and priced in writing.

If we have sent you here, you will have a quote from us by email or on WhatsApp with a figure in it. Enter that figure, fill in the order note as described below, and pay. We will come straight back to you with the build written out as we have understood it, and that confirmation is the point at which the commission is agreed.

If you have landed here by accident, please do not buy this. There is no blade attached to this listing. Paying here without a quote from us gets you nothing except a refund and a wasted week for both of us. If you want something made, start at the custom forge page — tell us what you have in mind, we will tell you honestly whether we can make it well and what it costs, and if it goes ahead we will send you back here with a figure.

What You Are Paying For

The piece as set out in the quote we sent you: the type of blade, the dimensions, the steel, the handle material, the finish, the sheath or scabbard, and anything else we agreed. That figure is the total for the piece delivered, unless our message said otherwise — it is not a deposit and not an estimate.

What it does not cover is import duty and local taxes in your country. Those are set by your government, they vary enormously, and they are the buyer's responsibility on every order we ship. If you want to know roughly what to expect before paying, ask us and we will tell you what other customers in your country have reported.

What to Put in the Order Note

Five things. This is the specification we build from, so it is worth the minute it takes.

Quote referenceOr the date of the email or WhatsApp message we sent you
The piece, in one lineAs agreed — type, blade length, steel, handle material, finish
Any changesAnything you have altered since the quote, however small
Delivery addressFull address including a phone number the courier can use
DeadlineIf you mentioned one to us, repeat it here

If anything in your note differs from what we quoted, we will come back and ask which version is right rather than guessing. That is not us being difficult — guessing is how people end up with a blade they did not mean to order.

How to Pay, Step by Step

Check you have a written quoteAn email or a WhatsApp message from us with a figure in it. If you do not have one, stop here and start at the custom forge page instead — this listing will not get you a blade on its own.
Set the amount to match the quote exactlyDo not round and do not guess. If the field will not let you enter the exact figure, message us and we will adjust it or send a direct link for the right sum.
Write the order noteThe five things listed above. This is the specification we build from, so it is worth the minute it takes.
PaySame checkout as any other order on this site. You will get a receipt and an order number from the store as usual.
Read our confirmation carefullyWe reply in writing with the build as we have understood it. THIS is the moment to catch anything wrong — it is much cheaper to fix here than later.

If you have not spoken to us yet, this page is the wrong end of the process. Send us what you have in mind — a drawing, a photograph, a description, a reference from a museum or a film — and we will tell you whether it can be made well in steel, what we would change and why, and what it costs. There is no charge for asking and no obligation after.

Why It Works This Way

Nothing is made before it is agreedWe hold no finished stock. Every piece is forged after the order, which is why the specification matters more here than it would on a shelf product, and why we read it back to you before starting.
The written confirmation is the contractNot the payment. We reply with the build as we have understood it, and work begins when you approve that. It gives both of us the same document rather than two memories of a conversation.
Your order note becomes the specificationWhich is why we ask for five specific things rather than leaving the box empty. It takes a minute and it is the difference between a piece that arrives right and one that arrives nearly right.
Quoted delivered, unless we said otherwiseShipping is in the figure. Import duty and local taxes at your end are not, because they are set by your country and we cannot pay them for you.
Questions are cheaper than correctionsAsk on WhatsApp before paying rather than after. Nothing about a commission is improved by finding out late, and there is no stage of this where a question is a nuisance.
We would rather lose an order than mislead youIf what you want is not something we can make well, or the deadline is not one we can hit, we will say so at the quote stage rather than take the money and hope.

What Happens After You Pay

We confirm receipt and write the build back to you as a short specification — the piece, the dimensions, the materials, the finish, the lead time. That message is the point at which the commission is agreed. Read it properly. If anything in it is wrong, tell us then and we will correct it before any steel is cut.

Once you approve it, the piece goes into the queue. Standard builds dispatch in 2 to 3 business days. Genuinely custom work runs 4 to 6 weeks depending on what you have asked for and what is already on the fire. If a date matters to you, say so before paying rather than after, because the queue is much easier to move things in early.

If the Amount or the Specification Is Wrong

Message us before paying and we will fix it. If the listing will not take the exact figure we quoted, we will either adjust it or send you a direct payment link for the right sum. Please do not round the amount up or down to make it fit — an order that arrives for the wrong total has to be untangled before anything can start, and that costs you days.

If you notice a problem after paying, tell us straight away. Before we send the written confirmation, a change is trivial. Before forging starts, it is usually easy and we will tell you honestly whether it moves the price either way. Once the blade is forged, a change generally means a new piece, because steel does not go backwards.

Changes, Cancellation and Refunds

Before forging begins. Tell us and we will refund you. Nothing has been consumed and we hold no stock, so there is no reason to make that difficult.

Once the piece is being made. A custom commission is built to your specification and fits nobody else's order, so it cannot be restocked or resold. A cancellation at that stage is something we will discuss with you case by case rather than something we can promise in advance, and where we can do something reasonable we will. Tell us early rather than late — the earlier it is, the more there is we can do.

If something is wrong with what arrives. Transit damage, or a defect in materials or workmanship, is covered by the Everest Forge manufacturer warranty and we will repair or replace. Photograph the packaging as well as the piece before unpacking further. And if what arrives does not match the written specification we confirmed, that is our error and we will put it right — which is the other reason that confirmation message matters.

Your statutory rights. Nothing on this page limits any rights you have under the consumer law of your own country. Where those rights and the paragraphs above differ, your statutory rights apply.

Payment and Your Details

Payment runs through the same checkout and the same processor as every other order on this site. We do not see or store your full card details at any point; they go to the payment processor rather than to us. You will get the same order confirmation and receipt as any other purchase.

Your address and phone number are used to ship the order and to let the courier reach you, and nothing else. If a payment page ever looks wrong to you — a different domain, a request for details a checkout would not normally ask for — stop and message us before entering anything. We would far rather answer a question than have you take a risk on our behalf.

Shipping, Duties and Lead Times

We ship by DHL or FedEx with tracking from Kathmandu, typically 7 to 14 business days in transit once the piece leaves the workshop. Blades travel sheathed and braced; long items go in a rigid tube or a timber-cornered carton. You get the tracking number on dispatch.

Unless the quote said otherwise, shipping is included in the figure. Import duty and local taxes are not, and they are the buyer's responsibility. Items over about 60 inches occasionally attract an oversize freight surcharge, which we will have raised in the quote rather than after. Our shipping and returns page sets out the general position.

How to Reach Us

WhatsApp is the fastest way and it is the one we would suggest for a commission, because it leaves both of us with the same written record of what was agreed. +977 9851015547.

You can also use the contact page for anything that is not urgent, or start a new commission at the custom forge page. We are in Nepal, so if you are in Europe or the Americas there may be a few hours between your message and our reply — we do answer.

Before You Pay

If anything is unclear, message first

A commission is worth ten minutes of questions at the start. If you are unsure about the amount, the specification, the lead time, what duty you might pay, or whether what you want can be made at all — ask before paying rather than after. It costs you nothing and it is much easier to change a plan than a forged blade.

Questions About Paying by Link

I found this page by accident. Should I buy it?

No. This listing exists so that customers who have already agreed a custom commission with us have a way to pay for it. There is no product attached to it. If you have not spoken to us and received a written quote, buying this gets you nothing except a refund and a wasted week.

If you want something made, start at the custom forge page instead. Tell us what you want, we will tell you whether we can make it and what it costs, and only then will we send you back here.

How do I know what amount to enter?

We will have told you, in writing, before you got to this page. The figure comes from the quote we sent you by email or on WhatsApp, and it is the total for the piece as specified — not a deposit and not an estimate, unless we said otherwise in that message.

If the quantity or price field here does not let you enter the exact figure we quoted, do not guess and do not round. Message us and we will adjust the listing or send you a direct payment link for the exact amount. An order that arrives for the wrong sum has to be untangled before anything goes on the fire, and that costs you days.

What should I write in the order note?

Five things, and it takes a minute: your quote reference or the date of the message we sent you; the piece as agreed, in one line; anything you changed after the quote; your full delivery address including a phone number for the courier; and any deadline you have mentioned to us.

That note is the specification we build from. If something in it differs from what we quoted, we will come back to you before starting rather than guess which version is right. It is also your record and ours if anything is ever queried later, which is the main reason we ask for it in writing rather than working from a conversation.

What happens after I pay?

We confirm receipt and read your order note back to you, in writing, as a short specification. That confirmation is the point at which the build is agreed — not the payment itself. If anything in it is wrong, you tell us then and we correct it before any steel is cut.

After you approve it, the piece goes into the queue. Standard builds are usually 2 to 3 business days to dispatch; genuinely custom work runs 4 to 6 weeks depending on what you have asked for and what is already on the fire. We will have given you a realistic figure in the quote and we will tell you if it slips.

Can I change the specification after paying?

Before we send you the written confirmation, easily — just reply and tell us. Before forging starts, usually, and we will tell you honestly whether the change affects the price either way. Once the blade is forged, a change generally means a new piece, because you cannot un-forge steel.

So the useful moment to think hard is when you read the confirmation back. That message exists precisely so you have one clear chance to catch anything before it becomes expensive. We would far rather spend ten minutes on a revision than send you something you did not mean to order.

What if I want to cancel?

Before forging begins, tell us and we will refund you. We hold no finished stock and nothing has been consumed, so there is no reason to make that difficult.

Once the piece is being made, a custom commission cannot be restocked or resold — it is built to your specification and it fits nobody else's order — so a cancellation after that point is something we will discuss case by case rather than something we can promise in advance. Where we can do something reasonable, we will. Please tell us early rather than late; the earlier it is, the more we can do.

What if it arrives damaged or is not what we agreed?

Tell us and photograph it, including the packaging as well as the piece, before you unpack any further. Transit damage and defects in materials or workmanship are covered by the Everest Forge manufacturer warranty, and we repair or replace.

If the piece does not match the written specification we confirmed, that is our error and we will put it right. This is the other reason the confirmation message matters: it gives both of us the same document to compare against, rather than two different memories of a conversation.

Is paying here safe?

Payment is handled by our store's payment processor on the same checkout the rest of the site uses. We do not see or store your full card details at any point — they go to the processor, not to us.

You will get the same order confirmation and receipt as any other order on this site. If anything about a payment page ever looks wrong to you, stop and message us on WhatsApp at +977 9851015547 before entering anything. We would far rather answer a question than have you take a risk.

Does the price include shipping?

Unless the quote said otherwise, yes — we quote delivered. What it does not include is import duty and local taxes at your end, which are set by your country and are the buyer's responsibility everywhere we ship.

Long items — spears, polearms, anything much over about 60 inches — occasionally attract an oversize freight surcharge, and we will have told you about that in the quote rather than after. If you are unsure what applies, ask before paying. Our shipping and returns page covers the general position.

How will it ship, and how long does it take?

By DHL or FedEx with tracking, from Kathmandu. Typically 7 to 14 business days in transit once it leaves the workshop, on top of the build time. Blades ship sheathed and braced; long items go in a rigid tube or a timber-cornered carton.

You get the tracking number when it dispatches. If a deadline matters to you, tell us before you pay rather than after — we can sometimes move things in the queue, and we would rather know while that is still possible.

Can I pay a deposit rather than the full amount?

Sometimes, on larger commissions, and it is a conversation rather than a form. Message us and we will tell you what we can do. If we agree a deposit, we will send you a link for that amount and a second one for the balance when the piece is ready, and both will be confirmed in writing.

Do not assume a partial payment has been agreed just because you sent one. Until we confirm it in writing, a part payment is an unallocated sum rather than a started order.

Can I talk to someone before paying?

Yes, and on a commission we would rather you did. WhatsApp is fastest — +977 9851015547 — and it also gives you and us the same written record of what was agreed, which is worth more than it sounds.

You can also use the contact page, or start from scratch at the custom forge page if you have not sent us a design yet. There is no stage of this where asking a question is a nuisance.
