Rooted in the traditional Panawal Angkhola Kukri style, the Iraqi Gripper Kukri was adapted by Gurkhas during their deployment in Iraq, earning the name "Iraqi Freedom Kukri." It reflects the practical, battle-tested design used historically by Nepalese farmers and later by soldiers in tough combat environments.
