Forged from properly heat-treated 5160 spring steel, the blade features a strong distal taper, beginning at approximately 6 mm at the base and narrowing to about 1.5 mm near the tip. A single central fuller extending roughly 26 inches improves balance, flexibility, and weight distribution. The finished sword is tuned to a target weight of 3.0–3.4 lb with a point of balance approximately 4–5 inches forward of the guard, delivering authoritative handling true to Gondorian style.

The guard and pommel are engineered around a treated steel core for structural strength, then clad or inlaid with brass to closely match the appearance of Boromir’s original sword. An 8-inch grip offers secure two-handed control, while the included leather-wrapped scabbard completes the piece for protection and presentation.
