This particular design is inspired by the elegant 15th-century Italian and English Baselards, noted for their scale tang construction and refined silhouette. It features a lower guard forged as part of the blade and a separately fitted upper guard, as was common in higher-status weapons of the period.

Expertly hand-forged from 5160 high carbon spring steel, the blade is semi-polished, water-tempered, and sharpened for functional performance. Whether for reenactments, display, or real use, this dagger captures historical accuracy while offering modern usability.
