Guardian WWI Combat Kukri/Khukuri – Modernized Historical Blade with Guard
Inspired by the legendary kukri issued to Gurkha soldiers during World War I, the Guardian WWI Combat Kukri is a powerful fusion of heritage and modern tactical refinement. Retaining the broad and formidable blade profile of the original wartime model, this updated version features a hand-forged high-carbon steel blade with fullers and a new guard-equipped handle, providing enhanced protection during use.
Crafted using traditional holly forging techniques by skilled Nepalese smiths, this kukri is built for heavy-duty field use. The 12-inch semi-polished blade is water-tempered to create a hardened edge while maintaining flexibility in the spine. The added hand guard ensures safety and grip security in demanding tasks like chopping wood, clearing brush, or tactical movement.
The 5.5-inch full tang rosewood handle features an ergonomic shape for comfort and leverage, while aluminum rivets and a lanyard hole provide durability and carry safety. This kukri comes complete with a traditionally styled scabbard wrapped in buffalo leather, and includes the two classic utility knives: the Karda (small knife) and Chakmak (sharpener).
