The Legacy of the Anglo Seax
The Anglo Seax was one of the defining blades of the Anglo-Saxon world, carried by warriors, nobles, and travelers throughout Northern Europe. Recognized for its long straight spine and practical cutting geometry, the Seax symbolized both utility and status. Larger Seax swords were often used as sidearms and battlefield weapons during the migration and Viking-era periods.
This custom forged version takes inspiration from historical Seax swords while incorporating modern forging precision and personalized family heraldry. The embossed insignia gives each blade a unique identity, transforming the swords into collectible family pieces worthy of display and functional use.
Hand Forged by Everest Forge
Each sword is individually hand forged in Nepal using traditional blacksmithing methods. The 5160 high carbon steel blades are carefully heat treated for durability, flexibility, and long-lasting edge retention. Natural horn handles provide a traditional appearance and comfortable grip, while iron fittings preserve the rugged medieval aesthetic.
Every leather-covered wooden scabbard is custom fitted to the blade and finished with decorated chapes for a refined historical presentation.
Important Note
This is a fully handmade custom forged set. Natural variations in horn texture, forging marks, and finish are part of the handcrafted process and make every sword unique.
