The Chitlange Superior Khukuri (Kukri) is a refined and powerful evolution of the traditional Chainpure-style blade. Hand-forged by skilled artisans, this kukri incorporates a modern take on a classic form—featuring a deeply extended bevel, lighter profile, and functional enhancements for cutting performance, durability, and aesthetics.

What sets this khukuri apart is the wide, forged bevel running from tip to notch—a complex design that not only strengthens the blade like an "I-Beam" but also reduces weight for swift movement and absorbs heavy impact. The convex edge profile and slender shape provide excellent slicing ability without compromising structural integrity. A signature footmark notch on the ricasso pays homage to Nepalese culture, symbolizing the sacred cow.

This 13-inch blade is hand-forged from 5160 high carbon steel and water-tempered for maximum edge retention. The 5.5-inch Indian rosewood handle features a flared base for a secure grip, with a rat-tail tang that is peened over a brass pommel cap for durability. The traditional triangular scabbard made from water buffalo leather and wood gives this khukuri its distinctive Chitlange character and makes it a proud addition to any collection.
