The Celtic Valor | Irish Ring Hilt Viking Sword – Hand Forged by Everest Forge
A battle-ready fusion of Celtic elegance and Viking strength, the Celtic Valor Sword honors both heritage and performance. Inspired by the legendary Irish ring-hilt swords once wielded by Celtic warriors and Norse raiders, this piece combines historical accuracy with functional design. Whether carried into reenactment battles or gifted as a symbol of unity and strength, this sword embodies a powerful legacy.
The 24-inch double-edged blade is hand-forged from 5160 carbon steel (repurposed from truck suspension leaf spring), water-tempered for durability and edge retention. The broad blade features a clean, powerful taper designed for chopping, cutting, and real use. The full tang construction provides balance and integrity, while the 7-inch rosewood handle ensures comfort and control.
At the heart of its symbolic strength is the ring pommel—a feature rooted in early Celtic and Viking swords, representing unity, loyalty, and eternal strength. The sword comes complete with a handcrafted wooden scabbard wrapped in yak leather, with twin leather shoulder straps for classic Viking-style back carry. A brass chape on the tip of the scabbard adds both protection and period-authentic detail.
Whether added to a collection, used in the field, or given as a wedding or anniversary gift, the Celtic Valor is a forged representation of honor, resilience, and history.
