Derringer Kukri – Multipurpose Designer Khukuri by Daniel Murray-Lake
The Derringer Kukri is a full-weight, mid-length multipurpose kukri, designed by Daniel Murray-Lake for demanding field tasks, bushcraft, carving, and martial applications. This exclusive Everest Forge blade blends aesthetic elegance with raw utility, resulting in a kukri that performs just as well as it looks.
The 330mm (13-inch) blade is hand-forged from high carbon steel with a flowing fuller design that strengthens the structure while reducing unnecessary weight. The subtle convex edge is water-quenched and tempered to a variable hardness, ensuring long-term edge retention even under repeated batoning and chopping. A unique Khol notch and finger choil replaces the traditional kaudi, enabling multiple grips for controlled cutting and carving.
Designed for both heavy-duty and fine work, the Derringer Kukri is ideal for outdoor adventurers, survivalists, hikers, and martial artists alike. Its full stick tang construction ensures durability, while the grip is crafted from polished water buffalo horn and secured by a custom Celtic solar wheel cross guard—a hallmark of the designer.
