Kindajal Sword – Hand-Forged Caucasian Blade with Rosewood Handle | Everest Forge
The Kindajal, also known as Khanjali or Qama, is a traditional double-edged short sword from the Caucasus region, notably Georgia, Dagestan, and Chechnya. Historically worn by warriors and noblemen, the Kindajal was used for both battle and ceremony — symbolizing pride, skill, and honor.
This Everest Forge interpretation of the Kindajal stays true to its origins while being fully functional. The 18-inch blade is hand-forged from reclaimed 5160 leaf spring steel, known for its toughness and edge retention. The blade is sharpened, water-tempered, and shaped for optimal balance, power, and control — making it suitable for slicing, thrusting, and utility use.
The 7-inch rosewood handle provides a firm grip and is shaped in the classic Kindajal style, blending traditional aesthetics with real-world functionality. It comes complete with a hand-stitched leather scabbard for protection and ease of carry.
