Defender Khukuri/Kukri – 15" Combat Full Tang Tactical Khukuri with Whitewood Handle

The Defender Khukuri is a striking 15-inch combat-style kukri forged for reach, impact, and battlefield performance. Inspired by blades carried in Iraq and Afghanistan, this design brings together the best aspects of both — the extended blade profile of the OIFK and the fast-handling grip of the OEFK — into one powerful, streamlined weapon built for real-world use.

This khukuri features a long, semi-polished 5160 carbon steel blade with a full-length fuller (chirra), running from tip to notch. This design reduces blade weight while reinforcing strength, allowing for powerful strikes with improved balance and reduced fatigue. The signature Defender curve adds chopping momentum while preserving control — ideal for tactical and outdoor environments.

The 6-inch handle is crafted from whitewood, chosen for both its lightness and desert-friendly aesthetic. It follows a full tang construction, securely fixed with metal rivets and shaped for quick transitions and a natural grip. A lanyard hole at the pommel provides extra carry security in demanding conditions. There is no external guard, allowing for faster draw and more agile movements in combat or survival scenarios.

This khukuri comes with a matching cream/off-white buffalo leather scabbard, styled with a double belt loop system and traditional front frog fastener for reliable carry. For a more tactical look, a black buffalo leather version is also available upon request. Two utility blades — the Karda (small knife) and Chakmak (sharpening steel) — are included to complete the traditional khukuri set.
