Panawal Service Kukri | Full Tang Military Khukuri by Everest Forge
The 10-Inch Panawal Service Kukri is an authentic military-style blade modeled after the standard issue Gurkha kukri. Built with battlefield functionality in mind, this hand-forged kukri combines history, durability, and power into one compact design. Used by the Gurkhas for generations, the kukri (also spelled khukuri) is more than just a knife—it is a symbol of valor, resilience, and practical utility.
This version has been upgraded for modern use, featuring a full tang construction with a rugged jungle-finish blade that’s ready for real performance in survival, camping, or bushcraft scenarios. Forged in Nepal using 5160 high carbon spring steel, the 10.25-inch semi-polished blade has a balanced water-tempered edge designed for chopping, batoning, and cutting through dense material.
The Panawal-style handle is made from durable rosewood, contoured with ergonomic grip and reinforced with rivets for extra strength during heavy-duty use. Two traditional side knives are included: the Karda (for fine slicing or skinning) and Chakmak (for sharpening the main blade).
