Everest Base Pate Kukri – Hand-Forged Bamboo Leaf Khukuri

The Everest Base Pate Kukri – also known as the Bamboo Leaf Kukri – features a wide, smooth leaf-shaped blade with excellent balance and cutting power. This design is inspired by traditional hill kukris of Nepal, adapted for real-world cutting tasks and outdoor versatility.

Each kukri is meticulously hand-forged in Nepal from 5160 carbon steel (leaf spring from trucks), delivering unmatched toughness and edge retention. The blade is water-tempered and sharpened for field readiness, capable of clearing brush, chopping firewood, or heavy-duty work around camp.

Its 14-inch blade curves forward with a wide belly, providing maximum momentum in chopping tasks. The full tang 5-inch rosewood handle is shaped for control and durability, riveted securely for extended use. Included are traditional Karda and Chakmak tools, as well as a leather-wrapped scabbard for safe carry.
