Chitlange Desert Khukuri/Kukri – Tactical Blade for Arid and Harsh Terrain

The Chitlange Desert Khukuri is engineered for extreme environments where sand, heat, and dry conditions challenge both blade and user. This robust kukri combines traditional Nepalese forging techniques with a desert-oriented design—ideal for survivalists, outdoor operators, and field workers navigating rugged, arid terrains.
The 13-inch blade features a deep extended bevel forged from tip to notch. This I-beam style construction strengthens the blade against shock and impact while keeping it lightweight and responsive. The convex edge profile offers superior cutting, slicing, and clearing efficiency, even in dry and dusty settings. The iconic footmark notch near the ricasso symbolizes Nepal’s cultural roots.
The full-tang blade is forged from 5160 high carbon steel and water-tempered to ensure edge retention under tough use. Its light-toned hardwood handle provides a neutral grip that remains cooler under sun exposure and is shaped for comfort and control. The white buffalo leather scabbard wrapped over wood gives a tactical, low-absorption finish suited for desert environments while staying true to the Chitlange triangular scabbard tradition.
Included are Karda and Chakmak tools housed in the scabbard for utility cutting and sharpening in the field. Whether for outdoor work, military-style operations, or emergency kits, the Chitlange Desert is built to endure where other knives fail.
