1. General Information

This website is owned and operated by Everest Forge, located in Kathmandu, Nepal. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website — including browsing, purchasing, account creation, and interaction with any content published at everestforge.com.

By accessing or using our website, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms & Conditions, please discontinue use of the website.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with the effective date noted at the bottom. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Product Descriptions, Images & Availability

Hand-Forged Variation: Every blade at Everest Forge is hand-forged by individual master blacksmiths in our Kathmandu workshop. As a result, each piece carries minor natural variations in finish, weight, grain pattern, handle figuring, and forge marks — these variations are part of what makes each blade unique and authentic. They are not defects.

Product Images: We aim to display product images that accurately represent each blade. However, the appearance on your screen may vary slightly from the physical product due to differences in monitor calibration, lighting, ambient conditions, and the inherent variation in hand-forged work. Where significant variation occurs, we will note this in the product description.

Specifications: Blade lengths, weights, and dimensions listed are typical for the design. Hand-forged blades carry small natural variations of approximately +/- 5% on listed measurements.

Availability: Our inventory is updated regularly. In the rare event that a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed — for example, if the specific blade is damaged during the final inspection — we will contact you promptly with options for a full refund, replacement, or alternative piece. Lead times are confirmed at order, especially for Custom Forge and Personalized orders.

3. Orders & Payment

Order Acceptance: All orders placed through everestforge.com are subject to acceptance and inventory availability. Everest Forge reserves the right to cancel, refuse, or limit any order at our discretion — for example, in cases of suspected fraud, payment failure, restricted shipping destinations, or local blade-import restrictions.

Payment Methods: We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, and selected international payment methods. Payment is processed at the time of order through our secure, PCI-compliant payment gateway. Full details on checkout security are available on our Secure Shopping page.

Pricing & Currency: Prices are displayed in your selected currency and reflect the cost of the blade only. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your country, package weight, and chosen courier. Customs duties, VAT, GST, or other import taxes imposed by your country of delivery are not included in the order total — these are paid directly by you to your local customs or courier when the package arrives.

Order Confirmation: You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after payment. If you do not receive a confirmation, please check your spam folder or contact us to verify your order was processed.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Worldwide Shipping: Everest Forge ships internationally via DHL Express and FedEx International Priority with full tracking and signature on delivery. Both couriers offer reliable, tracked, insured worldwide service.

Processing Time: 3–5 business days from order to dispatch. During this time, your blade is hand-forged, finished, inspected, and packed in our Kathmandu workshop. Custom-forge and personalized orders may take longer — exact lead time is confirmed at the time of order.

Delivery Time: Typically 5–10 business days from dispatch to delivery, depending on your country and customs processing. Total typical timeline: 8–15 business days from order to delivery.

Customs & Import Duties: International customers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, GST, and import fees charged by their country's customs authority. Everest Forge is not liable for delays caused by customs processing or for charges imposed by local authorities. Please review your country's blade-import rules before ordering.

For full shipping details, courier policies, and tracking instructions, see our Shipping & Returns page.

5. Returns, Refunds & Replacements

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not completely satisfied with your blade, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging.

Damaged or Defective Items: If your blade arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We will arrange a free replacement, refund, or repair — whichever you prefer.

Manufacturing Warranty: All Everest Forge blades come with a 6-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Full warranty terms, coverage, and exclusions are detailed on our Warranty, Returns & Replacement Policy page.

Non-Returnable Items:

Refund Processing: Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of receipt and inspection of the returned item. Bank processing times may vary depending on your card issuer.

6. Custom & Personalized Orders

Custom-forge orders and personalized engravings are forged specifically to your design and specifications. Because each piece is made to order from raw steel and cannot be re-sold to another customer, these orders are non-returnable and non-refundable once forging has begun.

To protect both parties, our team works closely with you during the design consultation stage. For custom-forge orders, we confirm dimensions, blade profile, tang style, handle materials, and finish in writing before forging begins. For personalized orders, we send a digital engraving preview for your approval before any work touches the blade.

If you have questions about a custom or personalized order, please contact us before placing the order. We are happy to discuss specifications and clarify any details.

The price displayed on the product page plus shipping (calculated at checkout) is the total you pay to Everest Forge. However, your country's customs authority may charge additional duties, VAT, GST, or import taxes when the package arrives — these are paid directly by you to customs or the courier on delivery.

Are custom and personalized orders refundable?
Custom and personalized blades are non-returnable and non-refundable once forging has begun, as they are made to your specification and cannot be re-sold. We confirm all details before forging begins to prevent issues. See our Personalized Blades and Custom Forge pages for full details.
